At Porter's Wood Furniture Co we offer a wide variety of solid wood bed frames. We offer both conventional and platform style bed frames. We explain the difference below. Thank you for having a look.

Conventional Solid Wood Bed Frames

These options offer more detailed footboards and generally will give a higher overall bed. The bed frames come complete with a headboard, footboard, side rails, and 3 slats each supported in 3 places. Our wood bed frames come complete with everything needed replace a metal frame.

If you would like a headboard on its own, all designs in the conventional section can be sold on their own.

Platform Solid Wood Bed Frames

Platform beds generally have a simple footboard and tend to look smaller aesthetically. These types of bed frames are designed for a mattress on its own, no box spring. Our platform beds come with full slat support or a plywood deck. Each model has different options, so please check the individual product for applicable options.

We offer both BC made and import platform beds. If available in 3 stains or less they are imported, everything else is manufactured in the Lower Mainland.

Under bed storage drawers are available for just about every frame. The import options will have wooden drawers that roll on the floor. The local BC made options will have drawers that are built into the frame, offering a much more finished appearance.
